Kevin was born and raised in the Town of Halfmoon with his
parents, Albert and Marie Tollisen and his brother, Brian. Kevin went to Mechanicville Central Schools
where he graduated fourth in his graduating class in the year 1990. Kevin went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree
in History/Political Science at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New
York. He graduated from Albany School
Law in 1997 with his juris doctorate degree.
Kevin passed the New York State Bar Exam in November and was admitted to
practice law in January of 1998.
Kevin continues to reside in the Town of Halfmoon with his
beautiful wife, Rebecca and their two boys, Matthew and Timothy. Their dog
Mocha is just a puppy and they have a cat, Willy. Kevin is a partner in the law firm of Carola,
Bagnoli & Tollisen, PLLC, in Mechanicville, New York.
Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and playing
basketball and baseball with his two boys.
Kevin and Rebecca are co-owners with their friends Jeffrey and Shannon
Bagnoli of a local candy store in Mechanicville called Park Avenue
Confectionary. Kevin has been making
chocolates since he was a teenager. The Store sells homemade chocolates,
handmade truffles, and nostalgic candies.
Sometimes, you will see Kevin working there on the weekends during busy
times of the year.
Kevin has been active in Halfmoon government and has served
the Town in many ways. When he was a teenager, he worked in the Town Parks
Department as Assistant Supervisor taking care of the Town Baseball fields and
lawns. He also served on the Town’s Zoning and Planning Boards and was elected
to the Town Board in 1998. After four
years on the Town Board, Kevin was elected as Town Justice where he has served
for the past 10 years.
Kevin feels truly blessed to live in Halfmoon and believes
that Halfmoon is best the place to raise and grow his family. Kevin wants to lead the Town of Halfmoon as
its next Town Supervisor. He has a
vision to enhance and improve the quality of life in Halfmoon.
